This fast-track program will give you all the basic skills you need to build a website for a small business or organization.
Begin building sites immediately while setting a firm foundation for a lifetime of maturing in the web design profession.
- Our class An Introduction to Web Page Design will give you the basic coding you need to troubleshoot your own sites and make them more efficient to maintain.
- Formatting Web Pages with CSS will give you command of Cascading Style Sheets as a way to control typography, design, and layout.
- Our Adobe Dreamweaver class is not just a class in how to use this leading software to build sites. It shows you how to interview a client, plan a site, and charge for your services as an independent designer.
- Our Web Graphics with Photoshop zeros in on the features you’ll need in every Website: banners, backgrounds, buttons, photo collages, and animations.
- Our Adobe Flash class won’t swamp you with techniques that require knowledge of programming code. Instead it will show you shortcuts for integrating the most popular Flash features into a site: animated advertisements, banners, and photo slide shows, plus sound and video.
- And finally, Building Websites with Free Content Management Systems pulls it all together. You'll learn how to choose, install, and customize the free system that best meets your clients needs.
This program will make it possible for you to skip the beginner level and go right to intermediate by using free designs and systems that are already fully tested. This permits you to get your feet wet while producing fairly sophisticated sites.

You must successfully complete all courses in the table above to receive a program certificate. Individual classes may be taken without pursuing the program certificate, and individual class certificates will be awarded. All classes in this program may not be offered every semester. It is recommended but not required that courses be taken in the order listed above.
